Lot #135-1980 Chevrolet "Pro-Street/Touring" C10 Truck. This truck has undergone a complete no expense spared frame off restoration/build. According to the seller, it started out as a rust free original California truck with only 3 previous owners. The seller states that until the restoration, it was still wearing its original paint from the factory. Running gear consists of a fresh 489 Cubic Inch "Big Block" Chevrolet engine that was built by Westside Performance in Houston TX. "SCAT" Performance supplied the complete rotating assembly. Performance additions consists of "Merlin" HP heads, "Isky" 680 lift hydraulic roller rocker camshaft, "Holley" 300-5 Intake manifold, "MSD" Pro-Billet Distributor, "Holley" Q850 carburetor, 2' "Hooker" long tube headers routed through a custom made 3" exhaust system, "ATI" harmonic balancer and a Milodon 7 quart oil pan. Seller states that the engine was dyno'd at 593 horsepower with 558 pounds of torque. This beast is coupled to a "TCI Street Fighter" Turbo Hydramatic 400 automatic transmission, with a 3200 rpm stall torque converter. Rear differential consists of a narrowed 12 bolt heavy duty 3.42 ratio GM, with "Moser" axles and "Yukon Performance" ring and pinion gears. Rear suspension was converted to a "4-link" system with "QA-1" adjustable shocks. The stock front suspension was replaced with drop spindles, disc brakes with a GM Hydro-Boost power system and "CPP" upper and lower tubular A-Arms and sway bar. Interior was replaced with all new custom Saddle Brown upholstery. The instrument panel was outfitted with all new "Dakota" digital gauges. The 18x8 and 20x12 "Coy's" custom wheels are wrapped in "Nitto" custom fitted tires and have less than 500 miles on them since installation. The seller states that this truck has all of its original sheet metal and body panels, and that all were rust free and laser straight before the exterior was finished in Stone Blue "PPG Deltron" paint. Seller also states that this little C10 came with factory power steering and air conditioning. The original A/C unit was upgraded to a more efficient "Vintage Air" system. "Dyna-Matt" soundproofing and insulation was installed throughout the cabin in every place possible. A 20 gallon rear fuel tank was added for cruising convenience. Seller says that this truck can be driven in comfort with ice cold A/C and warm heat on the inside when desired. He also states that this powerhouse can be driven in traffic without fear of overheating. This was truly too much to list, but we wanted everyone to know exactly what a "no-expense spared " build consists of. This is one Bad Hauler!!!!
